DESCRIPTION
This Confined Space Train the Trainer course is designed to teach the participant how to teach and develop their own confined space training program for his/her place of employment. It teaches skills and offers an in-depth review of regulations from 29 CFR 1910.146 Subpart J - Permit Required Confined Spaces. Do NOT order this class if you have not successfully taken 16-hr. Confined Space Entry and 8-hr. Confined Space Rescue with Honeywell within the past three years.
PROGRAM TOPICS
- Review of confined space regulations
- 29 CFR 1910.146 regulations
- Adult education methodology – hands-on exercises
- Demonstrate and apply teaching techniques
- Student work & teaching exercises
- Teach a 10-minute topic relating to confined space
- Final summary & assessment
- Must score 80% or better on assessment
COURSE MATERIALS
Reference manual, powerpoint examples, and certificate upon successful completion course. Student must bring laptop.
