VIRTUAL Fall Protection End User/Worker (Canada)
This VIRTUAL 8 hr. course is designed to ensure that all participants demonstrate the basic knowledge and proficiency in the classification and identification of working at heights and the identification of equipment and resources that may be required.
This program has been approved by the British Columbia Safety Association and is just one of the stepping stones to attaining your NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer) designation! This program is also the perfect choice for the end-user/worker needing to work at heights in BC maintaining compliance with WorkSafe BC and the BC OH&S Regulations.
End Users required to work at heights must be trained in the recognition of the risks and hazards associated with heights, and understand the methods of controlling these associated risks and hazards. A practical application of equipment inspection, harness donning/doffing and fit will be mandatory. With an optional additional practical activity of controlled weight transfer if desired or required depending on the provincial mandate.
Students must have a harness and a lanyard for the online portion of this class.
